Summary:
Tento článek se zabývá charakteristikami statistických dat, zejména mediány a kvartily. Existuje mnoho způsobů, jak zavést dolní a horní kvartily. Text čtenáře seznamuje se čtyřmi z nich – metoda including, excluding a metody využívající kvantily. Tento příspěvek může sloužit k orientaci mezi různými výsledky, které poskytují kalkulačky, Excel a statistické programy.
Summary:
The paper deals with measures of statistical data, especially with medians, and quartiles. There exist many ways how to introduce lower and upper quartiles. The text introduces the reader to four of them – method including, excluding and methods using quantiles. This contribution can serve to orientation among various results which are supplied by calculators, Excel and statistical programmes.
