Text ve svých úvodních šesti částech seznamuje čtenáře se základními principy práce v systému TeX z hlediska uživatele, který se chce s tímto systémem seznámit a prakticky jej používat. Sedmá část prezentuje použití originálního autorova systému maker OPmac, který významně zjednodušuje tvorbu dokumentů a zpřístupňuje jej uživatelům. V osmé části se text věnuje úvodu do programování maker, na ni pak navazuje informace o boxech, linkách a mezerách v deváté části a výběr dalších zajímavých a prakticky použitelných prvků v desáté části. Poslední část hlavního textu se zabývá speciálními možnostmi pdfTeXu. Dodatky uvádějí množství podrobnějších informací o různých aspektech používání systému TeX a jeho variant. Dodatek A se zabývá generováním formátů, dodatek B shrnuje informace o rozšířeních eTeX, XeTeX a LuaTeX, zápis numerických a metrických údajů uvádí dodatek C, zápis znaků ordinálními čísly dodatek D, dodatek E se zabývá vstupním kódováním, dodatek F možnostmi použití fontů a dodatek G možnostmi sazby více jazyky v CSplainu. Závěr textu je tvořen seznamem použitých zdrojů a rejstříkem řídicích sekvencí. (Czech) |

Text, coming in eleven chapters, presents a new approach in typesetting with the system TeX. The first six chapters covers basic principles of the system TeX for users who want to use it for typesetting. Chapter seven describes the system OPmac, a package containing author's original set of macros simplifying document production. Chapter eight deals with the first steps into programming of macros, followed in the next part by topics about boxes, rules and spaces. Selection of interesting and for practice useful elements is the content of the tenth chapter. The text is ended by dealing with special properties of pdfTeX. Appendices A to I contain a lot more detail information about TeX and its variants: generation of formats, summary of extensions eTeX, XeTeX and LuaTeX, notation of numeric and metric data, notation of characters by ordinal values, input encodings, use of fonts and multilingual typesetting in CSplain. References and index of control sequences complete the text. (English) |
