Summary:
Nadpis tohoto příspěvku je titulem práce anglických autorů Carla Hendricka a Robina Macphersona, jejichž kniha s podtitulem Most mezi výzkumem a praxí vyšla v českém překladu v roce 2019. Několika pohledy na tuto pozoruhodnou publikaci chci knihu doporučit našim učitelům. Nejde mi o podrobnou informaci o knize: zmíním se pouze o těch jejích částech, které jsou podle mého názoru zajímavé pro učitele matematiky (autoři učí angličtinu jako mateřský jazyk a dějepis).
Summary:
The title of this article is the title of the work by English authors Carl Hendrick and Robin Macpherson, whose book, subtitled Bridging the gap between research and practice, was published in a Czech translation in 2019. With some glimpses in this remarkable publication, I want to recommend the book to practising teachers. I am not concerned with detailed information about the book: I will mention only those parts that I think are of interest to mathematics teachers (the authors teach English as a mother tongue and history).
